A Fairytale Wedding - Randall & Ryan
We asked Randall to share the highlights of her big day for future brides along with some wedding day advice!
"Our wedding day was literally a fairytale that came to life. From all the little details, the backdrop of our ceremony (you can NEVER go wrong with getting married at a beach!), to the amazing staff at Kukua that made our day go perfectly without a hitch. Our whole day was magical from the beginning. We started by getting ready with our closest friends and family accompanied with some champagne. The emotional cards and gifts were passed around to our loved ones. Then the fun started with taking bridal party preceremony photos. After that, was our first look which at first I was totally against. My amazing photographer Karina convinced me that these are the best captures of the day and boy was she right! The ceremony started shortly after and it seemed like within a blink of an eye dinner and speeches were done and we were on the dance floor outside with the huge love sign dancing to our first dance with our guests holding sparklers. We then proceeded to have one of the best dance party and it is safe to say that open bar was taken full advantage of! The memories from this day will never be forgotten and last a lifetime for my husband and myself.
Advice to future brides: CHILL. Have all the fun planning - I was at my mother in laws every weekend for hours planning every little detail of my wedding. But don’t forget to step back from it all sometimes and remember to relax. The day will be perfect no matter what. Also, no matter what you do something will go wrong (usually the small stuff that’s not worth the sweat) I.e my music on my wedding day was not exactly how I wanted it for my entry for the bridal party but it still worked and no one knew it was wrong except for me! Another tip, don’t use your cell phone day of your wedding. We are so used to having it by our side and checking it constantly we don’t even realize how often we are on it. Leave it where you are getting ready or with a friend and take in the whole experience of your day. I am so happy I did that to embrace every emotion, word, and action by all my guests, my bridal party and husband that day. So, enjoy the ride of planning a wedding it’s an emotional roller coaster of ups and downs but at the end of the day remember why you are having this wedding; to celebrate the love of you and your best friend."
